Breakfast Bowl

The following breakfast is an awesome way to eat the complex carbs you need to have energy throughout the day, yet adding flavor to otherwise bland oatmeal through nutritious ingredients!

1/2 cup of oats

1 cup blueberries

1/2 cup strawberries

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp ground flaxseed

1 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter

1/2 banana, sliced

While cooking the oats in about 1 cup of water, add the blueberries, strawberries, cinnamon, and flax seed.  When cooking is finished, place the mixture into a bowl and add the almond butter and the sliced banana on top of the mixture.  Serve immediately!!
